As the Young Perspective Club of İstanbul Medeniyet University, a visit to the İstanbul Courthouse was organized with the aim of raising awareness in the field of law and gaining practical insight.
Within the scope of the visit program, the group first visited the İstanbul Bar Association No. 2, where they met with distinguished legal professionals. During these discussions, valuable insights were gained regarding the practical aspects of the legal profession, professional experiences, and the functioning of the justice system.
Following this, participants attended hearings at the Criminal Court of First Instance (Heavy Penal Court) and observed ongoing cases firsthand. Throughout this process, topics such as trial procedures, courtroom order, and the roles of the defense and prosecution were examined through concrete examples.
This experience provided participants with the opportunity to see how theoretical knowledge is reflected in practice and contributed significantly to their professional development.
